The following indexes have regular expressions enabled:
- MDB
- Dictionary (the setting accuracy spares the need of using ^ or $ to make the search input less difficult to use for Qwerty keyboard users (smartphones,etc.) / Anyway, * can still be used to spread the result set)
The plug-in generator has been updated and can now be used as usual and also via the search plug-in recognition of the browser.
Each search query now generates an individual plug-in, which can be refined beforehand and named individually by having the search settings opened (gear).
After a search request hast been done, the generated plugin is available within the browser's OpenSearchPlugin recognition (in Firefox, for example, in the address line (three dots) -> add search engine). The generated search plug-in only contains the refined configuration if the search settings are activated when the search is actually done, otherwise you get a rudimentary plug-in having the standard settings included.
The current page settings are also adopted (cipher / script, user interface language, etc.).
If a plug-in is created by executing an empty search query with the desired (global) search settings, all settings of all possible options are integrated into the search plug-in. A dialog for adding the search plugin is only opened by using outdated browsers. With newer browsers, the plug-in can be found in the address bar, as already mentioned above.
